DFI and ECM what the hell are u guys talking about

got a few questions for all you people what is a dfi and what is a ecm?Is the ecm the computer that runs the car?also what are u guys talking about when talking about codes? Could u please ENLIGHTEN me!!! thanks

DFI = Digital Fuel Injection....Which is a stand alone system used to control the engine...

ECM = Engine Control Module...Factory installed unit used to control the engine...

Codes = Fault codes, which are usually triggered when sensor reads beyond a specified parameter...
