350 performance chip in '89 305 TPI 5 sp.?!?
Hi guys,
I'm relatively new to this stuff so if there's anyone who could tell me something about this I would really appreciate it!!
See, I just bought an '89 GTA 5.0 TPI 5 speed and the seller first told me it was a 5.7, but it ain't, it's a 5.0.
Anyway, he also told me that he had put in a "performance chip" from a similar car that he got from a friend. But taking into account that most F-bodies in europe are auto's I believe it could be a chip for a 5.0 auto or a 5.7 auto. Now what I'd like to know is, what's the difference between these chips and if so what could be the result of using such a chip? Is it harmful or anything?
Thanks already!!:hail:
