Anyone got VSS working on COmmander 950?
Well I was wondering if the VSS input on the commander 950 did anything at all. i didnt bother hooking it up yet, but im going to. does it display or datalog MPH from the VSS?
Im also making a small piggy back program for the commander 950, to add some features its missing. Im working on a knock counter, a duty cycle logger, MPG (if i get the VSS working) logger, and a self-adjusting O2 modifier.. so it tunes itself basically... as far as i can tell it should work fine.. if anyone would like a copy of the code its in visual basics 6.0 and i use standard winapi function calls and a personal 32 bit bas file i am working on, i can send it as i work if you want to mess with it too.

Ive found 2 hidden text boxs in the main fuel map also, i un-hid them but i cant see what they do because this laptop doesnt have a serial port.
im going to subclass the fuelmap to find the messages of what part of the map is being used. then its going to compare the O2 mod with an input, say 90, and if its lower than 90 it will add another number, say +1 or +2 to that spot. simple right? and if its over 100 it will subtract an input, like -1. i just gota get a laptop with a serial port so i can figure out which message to subclass... so i can grab the handle of the textbox the commander is reading... so i can set text the number i want.
Using spark retard calibrations and comparing them with the currect spark advance i can also set the program to add advance until spark knock then subtract, say, 2 degrees and leave it.
