Help with MAF question

Hey, this is pretty unrelated to thirdgens but I was hoping to use some of the technical experience of the people here.
I'm part of Formula SAE race car team here at Cornell University. Basically we build a car to compete every year from scratch, engine is based on a yamaha 600cc alcohol turbo engine. Anyway, Im doing some work on the MAF problem the team has:
The rules require us to use a 19mm restrictor, and overall its easier for us to use an OEM MAF sensor. Right now the smallest we can find is from a car about 2.0L large, so needless to say the MAF is way bigger then what we want. As a result a pipe is created to convert the much larger MAF diameter to the smaller throttle body. This pipe basically sucks, and the best would be if we could find a OEM MAF much smaller, something on the order of 1.5-2inches in diameter. Does anyone know of any such small OEM MAF's from ANY car/bike manufactured?

I'd suggest you re-evaluate things.
Extremely small extremely high rpm engine, reversion is going to rear it's ugly head. MAF has a serious problem in that it reads just air flow, not direction.

Might look at the Euro cars to try and find one that's for like a 1200cc engine.
