big changes, custom chip needed?
Im gonna switch to prolly a 350 with 305 heads, a holley 670 TBI unit, headers, and a 2000-5000 rpm range computer cam. Im pretty sure Id really need a custom chip burnt, can anyone tell me more about this? Anyone know who can burn a custom spec chip cheaply? Or any other experiences or tips? Will my old sensors etc work? Thanks.

As for a chip, yes, it will need to be changed. Best bet is to get the equipment and do it yourself. Otherwise it is a guess for the chip guy as to what changes work and which changes don't.

What equipment is needed besides the laptop and ALDL I believe its called software? Could I actually burn my own chip? Is there usually any shops that do custom work like that? Will a 350 chip get it running at least for awhile? What about if I took the readings and mailed it to tbichips.com ? I have access to a laptop but have never done anything like this before, kinda jumpin in with both feet. Thanks.
