Innovate Wideband Input to Gen 7 DFI?

Has anyone successfully used the Innovate LM-1 as a wideband input to the Accel DFI Gen 7 ECM? I'm all for experimentation but, if it's been tried already and found to not work, I'd like to save some time and wire cutting. From what I've been able to find about Accel's wideband unit, it sends a 0-5v signal to the ECM. Since the Innovate unit is programable, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Unless there's some other kind of magic that Accel's box makes? Thanks!

It'd be tough to do right now unless you program the WB to emulate the A:F vs. Voltage curve of the DFI unit...

... However, an updated version of the DFI calibration software is coming very soon that will allow you to program the Gen 7 to recognize a generic linear curve of 0 volts == 10.0 A:F and 5.0 volts == 20.0 A:F. If you program your WB to yield that function, you will be able to set up your Gen 7 to read it.

Where can you get the info on the new updated software?

What is the A/F vs. voltage curve of the DFI unit? I thought it already was 0-5v 10 to 20 AFR linear?

The DFI unit is in the 0-5 Volt range, but the curve is not linear.

The new software will be labeled version 4.0, along with a firmware upgrade. You don't need the firmware upgrade for the wideband stuff, just the updated calibration software which will be a free download once it's available.

That's interesting. Well, I'll be anxiously awaiting the software update. Thanks for the info!
