Commander 950 Communication Cable

On the cummications cable for the C950 there are four holes but only three wires. Is this correct. I missing a wire for the number 4 pin which is for the A2 and A3 pins on the commander and I'm not communicating, ecu to laptop. Or is there another problem.

I've got the same setup and the same problem...... anyone else out there???

I checked voltages at Pins (B1, C16 Battery) (A6 Ign/Switched power) and all have 11.5v I also checked grounds. The ECM itself is grounded well as are pins (D10 and B3)

Changed the fuse.

The fuel pump primes for about 4-5 seconds when the key is turned on like it's supposed to.

Com port works on my friend's 90 RS with WINALDL.

Yep, it looks like I may have a bad cable. 3 pins are how it should be.

To check use a volt/ohm meter to check continuity
"The way to check the cable is to take an ohmeter and make sure that 2 goes to 2, 3 goes to 3, 1(4 pin) goes to 5 (DB9). Pin 4 in the 4 pin is unpopulated. "
