sequential fuel injection?

I was just wondering if anyone has a SFI setup on they're Gen I or II small block? I would really like to do it for the gas mileage purpose, but theres a point when paying alot more for the SFI setup would eventually surpass the gas savings i tried searching i can't find much information on it. Should i attempt it, or just stay with the GM HEI?

If someone does have it working it would be great to share your secrets. thanks

I've run the same code back to back in SEFI and batch fire mode.
Not much difference. I sway slightly back and forth as I continually play with both modes.

IMO, you'd get more from putting your efforts into other matters.

thanks I thought it would be cool to have a coil per cylinder setup like the ls1's. i read that the SFI setup was the reason the ls1 gets good gas mileage. eh im not worried about it i'll just upgrade the ignition system and leave it as is, and maybe try to get into prom burning for mileage. but that i dont have a clue where to start

which aftermarket heads are most efficient for our cars? I was looking at the vortecs because they are designed from the lt1's from what i understand.

A F.A.S.T. eDist will let you convert to the LS1 CNP.
I've also run that. <g>
Pricey, but to date it was the best spark available.

One downside it that at times the engine may have to spin over 2x to get a cam synch signal, before the engine will fire. Which may or not be a problem.

Go to the DIY CHIP board, and read the stickies at the top of the page. There's a pretty good gathering of guys that have burnt a few chips there.
