7730 code problems
7730 code problems
I just got back from a trip out West. In two weeks, I had 5 -6 codes go off, all for different things. I replaced each and every sensor, but it kept going off with different codes then. A day before I got home, the codes ended and the SES light never came back on. I checked wiring, grounds, etc, and found nothing. Could the 7730 be going bad?

Look really really close, where the connectors plug into the ecm, ie inside the ecm's connector shells, for any trace of water. Or any staining from when water may have been in there. If so, set the ecm out in the sun for a few real hot afternoons to evaporate any water out from between the pins themselves, and the connector.
If that's not it, and in fact the wiring is good, then it would indicate the ecm. Thou, and intermittent TPS, can be a bugger to find.
