simple ecm question.
Hey guys,
tried doing about 2 hours of searching and cant figure out what ecm type I have. It doesnt have an id tag on the actual ecm in my car either. Can some one point me in the right direction. I have a 1992 Camaro ecm for a 305 tbi vin E .
Thanks.

If you remove the 2 1/4" screws there's a *chip*, and on it, is a little AL tag with a 4 letter code. Post that code number, and I or someone else can verify whatcha got to make sure, it's all the right pieces.

Thanks,
It is the 8746, because after I posted, I was looking for bin librarys and came accross the guide at the bottom of thirdgen's tech article. Thanks for your help and not poking fun at my ignorance.
