Accel Gen 7 version 4.0 Question

Does anybody know how to get the Aux 2 input controls to function on the Calmap version 4.01. I want to add a switch on my dash to swap to the secondary idle control map. When I go to the controls screen the Aux 2 STI input is grayed out.. Accel has not gotten back to me about it.

Thanks

You need to have the firmware updated in your ECM to make that feature available. Latest ECM firmware is 4.0 to match CalMap v4.0.

Are you trying this online to the ECM, or offline from a calibration file? Try viewing the v4.0 sample calibration file offline and see if you can change the Idle2/STI settings in there.

I tried to make the changes with the sample 4.0 file and online to the ECM, it was greyed out both ways.

It would be a real nice feature to have working..

Sorry for the delay, I've been working from home for the last month after having knee surgery... It must be the vicodin that is slowing me down.

In version 4.0 of the ECM, the STI input line got 3 new functions:
1.) Alarm input.
2.) Alternate Idle Speed table enable.
3.) Launch Mode enable.

Without a Pro key, it defaults to (1). You need a key to be able to enable (2) or (3).

You can verify this by grounding the STI input line. You should see error code 73 displayed.
