730 ecm swap knock sensor ?s

In process of converting to 730 on my formula. Everything is pretty much cut and dry. Have it all repinned and just need to run wires for my MAP sensor. I am just confused on what exactly needs to be done on knock sensor. Can I just run a direct wire to the ecm from the knock sensor or do I need to go through the ESC? If I need to go through the ESC, where the heck is it and what exactly do I need to do? It isnt explained real clear in the tech articles. Help would be apreciated. I know several people have done the swap.

You need to disconnect the ESC and put a jumper Wire between C-E terminal on ESC contact.

Then you need to add a resistor (3.8k-4.2 kOhm) to get the right resistans, I put my resistor in the ESC contact between D and E.

Open my homepage at http://hem.passagen.se/pau324/ and click on engine mods and there are a picture called ESC that will show you how I did..

The ESC is placed on the firewall behind the brake cyl.
