Dfi Help Need Newbie Advice

I don't know what to do, I bought the accel dfi book, but how exactly do I check if I am running rich? and how do I change it if I am!?!?!

Hopefully I can help you a bit. I'm using Gen 6 w/ 6.32 Calmap, so I'm basing things on that. You probably set your base fuel map in the Global section to get a "ballpark" map. From past experience, you will get closer if you use your estimated rear wheel HP, as opposed to flywheel HP. Once you do that, go to configure ECU menu and put it into closed loop. After doing that, go back to your base fuel map, and once your car reaches operating temp, you should have an A/F meter at the bottom right. In closed loop, the computer will automatically alter the fuel to get you to 14.7 to 1. The A/F meter is simply showing the open loop ratio based on your fuel map. Also, in the configure ECU menu, make sure your CL throttle limit is set to around 75%. That way, the ECU will revert to OL under heavy throttle. Hopefully I've helped a little.
