1989 ECM Question

Hey guys its great to be back!! I have a question that I haven't been able to find the answer to. What is the max rpm a engine can run w/ this ECM? I need to know this, I know the LT1 ECMs can only go to 7,000rpms, after that there is no tables. Is this the same for our cars? This is a very important question because I have started my 385 stoker build and the cam maker wants to make a grind that will make power to 7,000. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Kyle

Come on guys, I know someone has the answer to my question!! Please help!! The ECM is from my 89 firebird. Also if the thing can run to 7,000rpm's, is there any issues w/ this ECM for tuning purposes? I mean will it be able to be well tuned, or would there be a better ECM I should use? I would imagine it will be somewhat difficult to tune because the engine is far from mild. Come on guys, lets hear it.....What is the answer to my questions?
