memcal question...

I have a 1988 TPI memcal, that I put my own custom chip in with a zif socket. My question is that will this memcal work on a 1991 or 1992 730 ECM?

In a word no. There are two things that are completely different. One is the ESC electronics are mounted on the firewall on the 88s. On the 730 ecm they are mounted on the chip itself and require a different KS. The other difference is the limp home chips are different.

Oh well, it was a thought.

Guess I'll be ordering one (16151348) from gmpartsdirect.com.

Thanks for the info.
