FAST DFI questions, need info ASAP please!!
Anyone familiar with the FAST bank to bank setup with WBo2? If so, I need some questions answered as soon as possible, I'll be making the decision on which setup to go with very soon.
1. How do I maintain the use of my factory cluster (91 Z stock cluster). ???
2. There is one FAST dealer/distributor that offers a piggy-back harness to make the system not just stand alone..... Is that the way to go?
3. Also, I've heard of adverstisements for the older FAST setups for $1,000 complete due to the new FAST XFI coming out. Is that true, and if so, where?
Any help from you guru's would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

there are outputs on the efi unit for things like rpm...
otherwises, there are two harnesses in these cars, one chassis and one engine... what i'm trying to say is that the dash instrument panel gauges, with the exception of the tach, all use there own sensors, which means your guages shouldnt be to much trouble to keep working
also, i wouldn't doubt the earlier fast efi setup coming down in price - the new fast is supposed to be very good...
a piggy back harness IS handy, i say use it if your oem harness is in *** shape.

I am in the same boat, I may have a deal here in the city for a FAST setup(bank to bank) with WB02 for $1400. It is NEW. One of my concerns was the operation of my gauges but I guess it shouldnt be to hard to figure out. I donthavea partnumber on this setup yet, I am waiting on the email but how many different FAST systems are out there?

well, I just bought my setup. it is the older FAST setup and comes with WB O2, and all harness and cables. I paid $1400. The shop told me that since I am running a 6spd, no A/C, no cruise control and that I have a Auto Meter electronic speedo that I should have any wiring issues at all with the harness. I will be using the FAST harness since I dont trust the OEM one. My tach will run straight off the MSD.

Good Deal, do they have any more at that price?
Also, my harness is in great shape and I do still want to run the factory cluster.
I'm running a six-speed as well and an Autometer tach wired to the MSD box.
If I run this setup, will I still have to have the factory ECM hooked up in order for the cluster to work?
Or, will I still have to hard wire the FAST harness into the cluster?
