Sort of.
You need a $58 bin on either a original 730 or 749 memcal.
If it's wired to match a $58 bin that is.
You can run an 8D bin in a 730 memcal on a 749 as long as it's wired like an Fbody.
The wiring has to match the bin is a better way to think of it.
The 749 and 730 are very similar at the hardware level.
There is a couple of stickies on the swap and what the differences are.

Another easy way to answer it: You need a custom prom. So it would be neither stock 730 or stock 749.

Isnt there someone on these boards that has the tools to program these ecm proms yet? I would imagine by now someone would have spoke up and started making money off of programming.

There are alot of people that do, I dont think they advertise because of the forum rules. The forum is more for learning how to DIY. Its at the point now where the stock ECM can be re-tuned in real time with a romulator, DIY tuning has gone a very long way. I've got the tools to do it, but I'm still a novice so I wouldnt want to be re-tuning anyone elses car until I really know whats going on.
