- do a search on this board. - you'll get a lot of info. - I'd go w/ the Megasquirt II 3.0. It's the best general set-up for controlling spark and fuel delivery. It can be had for $250 @ glensgarage(.com) Just know taht unless you pay A LOT more money that its is a "kit", meaning it is not assembled. You have to sodier wires/circuits together and build it. Severral people who have never sodiered before in thier lives have been able to do it w/o any problems. There's tons of info/tech support at msefi.com - You'll also need a stimulator board to test circuits and such as you go along. This will run you about $40. Everyone running one loves it. I'm working on my first, and will be doing atleast 4 more(1st being my burban, 2nd my car, others are friends' rides) True on the fly tuning, plus lots of room for advancement(boost, etc...) All for less than prom equipment...

Go with MSII. Like shagwell stated, MSII allows for more than just fuel control as MSI does not provide for this without MSnS-E. It's less money and time in the end, I think. Though, if it's for the pure learning factor, MSI is good to begin but make upgrading a hassle, I think (running more wire, more soldering, more code, etc.). I'm in the process of making up a wiring harness myself. Good luck whichever way you go.
