Baro Sensor

Located Baro Sensor on firewall passager side. On bottom of sensor is a air port. If I am right a vaccum hose should go to it. But comming off my carb I have run out of hoses, please help. Also the hose that comes off Air cleaner is sucking air. (put on open element) I put a filter on this, can I hook this up to sensor since most people block this off. Seems the sensor could then read vaccum. Had someone "tune up" carb, now runs like crap. The trouble light has been on since he did it. Found several vaccumm hoses on ground, trying to figure out what he did, he has disappeared. On start up I have smoke that I didnt have before. Also bogs down. Please help, thanks.

I can help on some of this. The baro sensor port needs to be open, no hose. The vacuum line that used to be on the air cleaner needs to be plugged. If I am correct it used to operate the pre_heat flap via the Thermovac valve.

As far as the rest of the vacuum lines, there were several posts not too long ago on the general/engine board. They had pic's of the vacuum diagrams posted. Maybe include 'Vader' as the author within the search.
