Ok, well I got the ecm wired up just like it says in the tech article its an ecm. But no go. I will just crank and not fire. i am pretty sure it is a fuel issue as the fuel pump wont even prim when i turn the key to acessory. What does VATs stop? fuel or spark? I cant remember. Maybe I didnt re move it properly. I think the next thing i will try is just to use the 87' puter i have lying around. if it works, i know it has somthing to do with the ecm or prom. if not I need to go through the wiring again.
