Will our fuel injection systems work with alternate fuels?

Does anyone have any idea what would have to be done to a TPI SD system to get our cars to burn the new E85 ethanol based fuel? It looks like the ecm could be changed a little and the system would work. Maybe fuel mixture and timining issues? How about some input.
Thanks

Alternate Fuels

E-85 (or pure ethanol) will require a higher fuel flow rate (almost twice) and more timing. From what I've read, the equivalent octane for ethanol is around 104. You would double the injector size and use peak-hold types. This is because if you want to burn gasoline, you'll have to reduce the pulsewidth and saturated injectors won't respond quickly enough. Obviously, the fuel pump and lines will have to handle the increased fuel flow. The short answer; yeah, they can me modified to handle alternate fuels.
