ecm type

I need to know what my ecm type is. I new to this how area and I'm using WinAldl. WinAldl needs my ecm type, how do I find this? I have a 1988 2.8, I checked the ecm and it has a number on it 16079891, is this it. Is there a guide for new users to learn how to run diagnostic, not burning?

I think the ECM is a 1227302. See if the Service # on the ECM matches that.
