speed density swap question

I hope this makes sense, I'm in the middle of the swap and now I have a question which probably has a simple answer, But I, Of coarse, Want to be verified.

Background: I am repinning the harness from my '165 ecm into my new '727 ecm.
I have been looking at the images as shown here ftp://ftp.diy-efi.org/pub/gmecm/manu...727V8TPI-9.jpg and then using 1227727 Wiring Harness Pinout that to see what pins from the '727 run to the '730, And then, I refer to http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~davis/z28/ECMs/86to92.txt to run the reference from the '730 finally to '165. Now the problem lies in a few spots, for example, Look at connector C1, Says 'battery feed', From the '730 reference, This shows pins B1 AND C16. B1 & C16 is subsequently, the same pin reference on my '165. So do I need to run both wires B1 & C16 and fit them into the single C1 location on the '727 ecm?

I made this as clear as possible, If you do not understand, Say so, And I will try to make is simpler.

Question 2.

Pin D17 on the '727 ecm also is labeled 'battery feed' And with the reference to '730 and then to '165, This also shows the same pins B1 & C16. Now this is already labeled to fit in C1 on the '727. Now they want it in D17 as well? Can I safely assume I can place one pin such as B1 into C1 and C16 into D17?
