Chip Question
I have an 86 Iroc with the LB9 and Auto Trans.I just pulled a stock chip from an 87 GTA with the L98 and auto Trans.Will the car run any better with this chip installed?

Actually your car will not run well at all, because your engine is a 305, and the chip that you pulled is from a 350, which is tuned for bigger injectors, and different fuel maps and stuff, so you will be creatining more problems then anything.

I just switched to a 89 'APYM' i believe chip which is for 89 305 auto and is newer $6E code. All you have to do is disable the VATS on the chip and pull the CSI on the engine. So far it works pretty good.
But you have to do some minor chip tuning and burning for this but its not bad once you have the equipment. Check out moates.net and do some searching on the board.
