laptop programs compatable with V6 ecm
winaldl didn't list my system, so I'm wondering if any of the other programs available will work with my 89 2.8 efi system. I have a laptop and would love to be able to use it as a scanner instead of spending $400 for a handheld. Maybe even do a little tuning if it's possible.

I don't know for sure but I think FreeScan might have that one... or you could download TunerPro (TP) and see if you can find the right xdf. Did you check for TP files yet?

I know tuner pro and winaldl work for my 85 and I believe all the 2.8's used the same board with different firmware. you should be good to go.
