dfi 6.32 idle / timing?

I went into my dfi a while back to mess with the NOS settings and while I was in there I decided to bump up the idle a bit. It was set to start at 1200 or so and drop with coolant temp all the way down to upper 800s. I wanted to leave it around 1000 so once it hit the 1000 rpm mark I changed all the value in the cells after to 1000 as well to keep it at that. It idles great, but ever since I notice when I sit in neutral, rev the car to say 3500 or so, let it come back to idle and rev again it will backfire really bad. Do I need to go into the ignition map and play with timing or anything else at all for all the value that I changed to 1000? I figured the computer would compensate all that for me, but maybe not? I've never messed with a dfi before and had I known it will cause problems I wouldn't have, but like I said I thought all I needed to do was change those values and that's it. Any help or input would be GREATLY appreciated. I may just end up changing the values back that I messed with, I just don't remember the old values so I need to figure out a way to find those out. Would that even cause a backfire though, or is that an entirely different problem?

If you want to change the values back, just set the idlespeed to 850 or 875. I would save the table you have now, and then change it, and then save that one too. Whatever you change, save the table you're about to change before you change it so if it doesn't work you can easily load it back in.

Your backfire problem has nothing to do with the change in idlespeed. I would look in the accel. enrichment tables and mess with the one based off the TPS. Save the existing file first, and then remove some enrichment and see if it helps the problem.
