I went into my gen 6 dfi NOS settings menu and set it to pull back ignition timing over 90% throttle for my nitrous. I have the 12v trigger wire connected as well. The problem is the car is pulling timing even when no voltage is being sent to the computer. How does the computer know whether there is a trigger wire connected and the switch just off, or no wire connected at all? In other words, if someone has no trigger connected at all the computer will pull timing when it meets their settings. How does the computer know if there is a trigger wire connected though, or if there is none? This is a really serious problem right now becuase my car is missing like crazy and pinging, even though I completely unhooked my trigger wire to try and get it out of NOS mode. Someone please explain this to me!
