What aftermarket ECMs, such as DFI?, can utilize a wideband O2 all the time to control a/f ratio for better performance?
I think a MOTEC can, but I am curious if anyone has converted over to this type of set up.

Megasquirt does. It can support dual wideband controllers which independently control each bank of injectors.

Nearly every aftermarket system available can use a wideband O2 sensor these days. The ones that can't perform that (basic) function are probably not worth using anyway.

It certainly makes tuning easier. I know that in the megasquirt if you have a wideband all you have to do is create an AFR table, and the megasquirt will match it. That means you don't have to mess around with a VE table, which can be a pain sometimes.

Thanks. That sounds like something I would want, especially if I go old school car, 67 Camaro, with an LSx engine.
