can commander 950 and stock ecm co exist?

I just got a commander 950 from a friend for very little money and I am currently putting together a project car with a stealth ram and a gm 165 ecm. I am familiar with tuning this setup as I have another car with pretty close to the same specs and I custom burned a chip for it, but it still has some issues and I feel I am not fully getting the most out of it. I understand that the commander only covers spark and fuel, but what about vss, and torque converter lock up? Would it be possible to run the commander for spark and fuel and the stock ecm for everything else? I have read about re pinning the connector and would rather not do that for now. Thanks

ok why do you want the VSS?? Stock eqipment still works with whatever sensors you have still hooked up on the old computer. i have the C950 and the stock computer working. The C950 runs the engine and the stock computer can run everything else. you can buy a lock up kit from TCI for the trans. i think about 40 dollars. just some little info.

you can buy a lock up kit from TCI for the trans., but what your saying is that the stock computer will still control tcc lock up and that you havn't taken away sensor info from the stock computer by running the commander 950 to affect the function of tcc, atleast this is the way I understand it, correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.
