pulling the ECM and harness!?

i have a TBI Camaro, i switched to carb, i want to eliminate the ECM and harness i started to try but there are lots of wires that run to one side of the engine bay to other to the drivers side fire wall back to the ecm harness ect ect

Hello,
ECT stands for Electronic Spark Control and is responsible for Advancing and retarding your timing based on varying engine conditions. Along with the ECT, you may also have a fuel pump relay. These can be eliminated along with the wiring and ECM. Up front, on the passanger side, You should also have a fan relay. THe fan relay can be eliminated, but you will need to purchase an adjustible fan controller available at Shucks. Don't forget to replace your distributer with the old vacuum advance distributer.
