Computer analysis help

Hello all,
My dad has just purchased a 1987 IROC Z-28 with a TPI 305. Now, the plans for this are kinda weird, as we intend to either take the TPI and place it in his 68 Chevelle, and place the engine currently in the Chevelle (a rather potent little 350) into the Camaro and use it for race purposes, or simply swap fuel delivery systems in the same two engines (the 350 has a Holley 750, btw). Now, this last option would mean some fuel injection modification, and since I have a laptop, we were considering using one of those programs that allowed you to hook up your computer and modify the settings and such. However, I can't seem to find anything that fits that bill, mostly because neither of us can remember the names of any company that manufactures a system like that. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Stickies in the DIY PROM section. Can tell you plenty about tunning your car via laptop.

There are a good hand full of programs that can do what you want, ones that come to mind are TunerPro and TunerCat, but there are plenty of others as well.
