Does the car need a clt temp reading to run ignition?

Okay what i have going is a Megasquirt V1 board with the Extras code!I want the stock ECM to control ignition for now with the stock knock sensor!i am running a single intercooled turbo on my V8 357 has a small cam in it with TBI 85 lb injectors that can be bumped up to over 200 lbs a peice

My question really is what does the stock computer absolutly have to have to run the ignition?i already put all of the inputs from almost every sensor to the MS the only things left on the stock ECM is knock ground positive and most of the dash outputs!

Also i really don't think it has one but it cannot hurt to ask!does the TBI 5.0 H.O. engines come with a Idle Air Controller?I never saw what looked like one when i put the engine back in but i could have missed something u know!?(it has been started since engine swaps and ran fine on stock ECU!)

Any help will be appreciated, send me to another thread answer my question here i don't really care either way!All of my equipment is fabbed up and ready to roll i just need these finishing touches!I'd like too be able to start it by sunday!

Which one are you referring to? The sensor on the manifold of my 305 TBI when disconnected would make the motor sputter pretty bad. It was quickly plugged back in and all was back to normal...

Yeah the one on the manifold i don't even have the one on the block!that controls the guage on the dash!but i guess the real question is, is that the only sensor needed to run ignition other than knock?please help anyone and everyone!?
