reading ECM for 89 L98 - understanding data help please!

I know my car is out of tune, I now have an 89GTA TPI with Scoggin-Dickey Vortec setup, ZZ4 cam, and edelbrock smog headers, and my car feels slower than before! I replaced my ECM and am reading data.

I see things like knock counts, MAF values, BLM numbers... and I can plot graphs of these things while I am accelerating! But, I really don't know what the numbers indicate and what adjustments need to be made.

Can anyone recommend a good source of information for interpreting the meaning of this information to get a car running its best? I've put a summer into this car getting all the good parts and I'm realizing now I'm just scratching the surface of getting the car to run its best.

thanks in advance for any info!
