Out with the old

I am building a 383 on a good budget. Will have have a beefed up tranny and matched Tq converter. In my budget I have money set aside for something I wanted to do for a long time, water alcohol injected supercharger attached to this engine. My question is will the stock ECM and harness (Ill have a after market wideband O2 sensor with guage though) keep up with this motor. Ill have some MSD ingnition to add like boost timing retard and the box also. I also plan on going to see Ed wright and have him program a custom chip and dyno tune (like an hour away). Prices for the aftermarket is high. If I can get away with the stock EFI with a nice tune and custom chip then so be it.

You will need to determine if your ECU will accept input from a 2 bar MAP sensor. Place in a post your ECU and someone will know. If yours wont accept that MAP sensor you need to find out which GM will OR go aftermarket.

I have a stock 1990 corvette I think it is the P4 system with a MAP. Im just wondering what it would take to supercharge the beast with the stock system.
