In the my haynes manuel it says to check the rsistance to make sure not to mess up the ecm which wire do I test for the TCC solenoid and EGR solenoid.

TCC is on pin A7 (TAN/BLK)
EGR is on pin A4 (GRY)

if i put one lead to my ohm meter on a7 where does the other go vice versa with a4

 

Ignition switched power. And not with the ignition switch on. Try pin A6 (PNK/BLK) on the ECM. That is ignition switched power.

For the EGR it is easiest to remove the connector from the solenoid and ohm across the solenoid terminals. The TCC solenoid is a little tougher as the connector for it is on the trans. Driver side, above the pan rail.

Thanks for the help I did tes t the egr that way but still wanted to test it all back to ecm but was quit sure where to put the lead. Read my other tread about my car dieing in gear and see if you can give any help there. Thanks again

 

I checked the the egr and got 53 ohms I checked the tcc and got nothing are u sure to check ohms on the tcc u check it with pin a6 as well at the trans I got 23 ohms.
