ALDL CONNECTION PROBLEMS

Hey fellas I need some help. Im doing a 730 to 749 ecm swap in my car. I have got the thing running and I can change the tune with the emulator but when I plug in the scan tool it says "NO DATA" I have been using the 92 turbo Z VIN truck and 92 8 VIN F body with no success. What am I doing wrong? I need DATA to tune this thing!
