Mounting my new ebl

I am installing my new ebl-ecm. I have a 84 CFI. I pulled my ecm out and it has the brackets and such. My new ecm doesn't have any brackets. How are you mounting them in the dash?
Should I take the bracket off the old? Then drill new holes in the ecm?
Any advice would be helpful.
thanks

Re: Mounting my new ebl

I had the same issue. I placed the EBL(8746) back into prescribed opening and secured with some tie wraps. Unfortunately I could not set the plastic cover back onto bottom of dash and did not want to force the situation. I was able to get the coutesy light useful. Underside of dash is not visable anyway so no big deal.
