I know I have power going to it, but when i turned the ignition on to prime the fuel pump, I got nothing. I have not yet hooked it up to the computer to tune it. Is this why? I thought ity would at least blink though. Im just checkin that Im good so far

 

I would double check the power connections, and also follow the megamanual.


You may need to manually load the firmware onto your unit.

 

I think I may have to. I think the firmware could be bad. I mean i know I have power now. The laptop shows tps working and all.

I checked the fuel pump wire and no power goes to it. Anyways I think I may do the firmware thing. I gotta look up how to do that one lol

 

did u build it yourself of buy it? did u go thru step by step and set up all your initial settings yet from megamanual? what relay are you using, the relay board in the megasquirt or an external relay?

 

Okay I bought a predone one from DIYAUTOTUNE. I also bought their wiring harness. What else besides wiring everything together correctly should have i done? They also preloaded the 2.68 code onto my ms II.

with that preloaded it should at least prime the fuel pump right?

 

You do know that the fuel pump output supplies GROUND (not power) right?

 

Ya i heard supposedly its best to run the relay wire from the ms to the wire of the fuel pump relay like where it begins. the fuel pump relay wire is the tannish one with a white stripe right.
