hahaha i got it started but lots of issues

SCENARIO: I installed megasquirt II and before i had no spark. Now to present.(read below)

Okay today i got my new distributor and now its started. PRoblem is that i have no coolant sensor readout, the car is misfiring, the wideband is reading 22.0 pegged, and it wont stay on when i take my foot of the throttle.

Now i smell lots of gas while keeping it on with my foot on the throttle. Also if my tps reads 5% when my foot is off is that too low?

What could be with some possible IAC issues? COuld I have possibly wired it wrong? I know that the IAC wires had two of teh same color of both(i got my wiring harness from DIY).

Any ideas guys? Could someone with a similar setup possibly send me their megatune file?

1988 chevy camaro 350. holley stealth ram intake, 24# injectors, pretty much stock everything else.

First make sure you have it set to 'Speed Density", and not to alpha-n.

Second many injections per cycle do you have it set to? Set it to 1. Now choose under map type the 115kpa one. Also make sure it set to "odd fire" and not "even fire". Also make sure you hav the injector staging set to "Simultanious". What is your injector opening time set to right now? Also did you use the required fuel calculator in megatune? It can give you a good starting point.

You should talk to a guy on http://www.chevytalk.com who has the handle of "ChevelleFan". I think he may be on here also? He hs a pretty good map he can send you. I can't find my copy right now he sent me and I used, and the trucks in storage right now so i can't get to it to download it. He's running a megasquirted 406 I believe.

Ya i actually talked to him before,. Thanks for the settings. I was had the injector characteristics off pretty far.

YOu know by chance why it would be reading so lean?

Yeah, I lurk here from time to time. We've been chatting a bit in email and his injection settings were pretty messed up (1 squirt/cycle, simultaneous, and set to Odd Fire)

Your TPS should read 0% when closed. To set it, go into Megatune --> Tools --> Calibrate TPS (with engine off). Click 'Get Current' next to throttle closed. Then, hold the throttle wide-open, and click 'Get Current' next to Full Throttle.

Have you read the megamanual at all? You really need to read it. All of it. And then probably read it again. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but it'll make things much easier for you.

Cool, I sure wish i had my truck out of storage!

The mega-manual is daunting at first, but once you read it, it will start to make sense. I also heavily suggest reading checking out http://msefi.com/ if you haven't already. Theres always someone there to answer your questions.

I have read that manual way too many times. I just need to figure out my evil car. I know for a fact i can get it to run if it i get it idling. I just wish I could solve this issue. trying to tune and have the foot on the gas is kinda hard.
