89 RS prom?
Buying an 89 RS, wit a 2.8 in it.
I wanna put my L98 TPI in it, should i only have to swap the engine harness and prom, and just use the same ECM.. or..??

I know the 90-92 3.1L V6's use the same 7730 ECM as the 90-92 V8 TPI's, but with a different prom. I have no idea if the '89 2.8L uses the same ECM as the 89 TPI, but I doubt it. You'll need a new ECM and PROM chip.

Ok well how can i be sure of this.. how can i check to see if the ECM is usable?

Look at the TPI ECM and the V6 ECM. If they're the same part number, you're good. The '86-'89 TPI ECM has the last four digits of '7165.
