can someone help me with a code 23...

Im confused as to what this means.. People keep referring to it being a TPS however "http://sethirdgen.org/dtc.htm" says it is a manifold air temperature sense... I have searched and i still have no idea because every thread says something diffrent...

So what does it mean and will that cause my chugging problems under acceleration?

Re: can someone help me with a code 23...

Code 23 is the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor low. TBI? It is located in the air cleaner housing. With the code being for a low reading, either: the sensor is missing, isn't plugged in all of the way, is bad, or the connector or wiring is open (such as a broken wire).
