110mph shutdown?
I have an 86 z28 350 TPI, AT/OD. when im on the freeway with the accelerator pegged to the floor it shuts down at 110mph. is there a way to get rid of this problem? a performance chip? or ECM upgrade?

sound like its governed, most likely becasue of the wheel/tire package the vehicle was origionally equipped with, you should be able to get rid of it with a custom prom, or a prom from a car with the same drivetrain that came with z-rated tires.

where would i get a custom PROM or even a stock used one? I know probly a junk yard but is there a website or a place that has them? i was thinking of getting a JET chip along with an 87-92 350TPI ECM(whatever i can find). would that work?
