My Prom is done, I need to locate one ASAP. I'm looking for 89 T/A, 5.0, TPI , Auto, 2.73 gears. The Prom code is 3506APYR. I was told by several dealerships these are discontinued, can someone suggest a place to find one or if I can get one burned or replaced.

Please let me know your suggestions.

 

Easy to do if you can't find one. Why do you suspect yours is bad? Showing any fault codes? If indeed your bin is toast (APYR) a modified memcal prom can accept an updated chip which can be programmed with the correct bin. Not sure anyone actually reprograms the original chips anymore, most upgrade to eeproms. The calpac limp home chips, two small ones, can be an issue. Either have to use your old one, find a replacement, or don't worry about it and use any calpak you can get and hope it runs if the limp home mode is ever used, which is rare.
