VATS bypass questions
Well first off I wasnt sure whether i should have put this ? in here or under the LT1 forum, but anywase I put it in both haha.... My ? deals with the VATS bypass on the LT1 ECU. It turns out when I sent out my compter to be burnt for the specifications of my engine they forgot to burn out the vats so now I'm stuck with a vehicle that will run for only 4 seconds and I was wondering if anyone would know which wires/pinouts on the connectors to the computer are the ones for the vats??? My plan was to locate those wires and splice resisters where neccessary. My other question was I heard of a piece you can purchase that plugs between the ECU connector and the ECU itself that is a VATS bypass module? has anyone else heard of this... I'm going to call summit/jegs and ask about it but I was just wondering if anyone knew of it or used it.
Thanks for the help

Re: VATS bypass questions
i can bypass the 3rd gens not sure on the 4ths but u should see a white thin wire with 2 orange ones inside of it coming down from the column near your knee pad unplug it and u can just read the resitance off of it and get a resitor for it but u have to get the EXACT resitance or it wont work
