91 TBI question

Hello, I'm currently working on a 350 build witch i'm gona use TBI injection for. I have alot of mod's i'm gonna run on it so i know i need to learn to tune my computer. I tried searching for what i'm looking for and most likely i over looked it. So if there is a thread on what i'm needing please kindly direct me to the right link... if not here is basicly what i'm looking for.

I want to start doing some tuneing on my stock 305 so i can learn the ropes of tuning. I have the bennifit of having a friend of mine helpling me with this but he's only done the TPI. for the most part i konw all of what i'm gonna need to do it. the question i have right now is, I have a fully stock 305 tbi. If i wanted to say "Fine tune" the motor. Is ther any general things you can go into the computer and tweek or change to get a little bit more power out of these things? I also have a bored out 305/350 TBI. Its been punched to 50MM i'm going to put that ontop of my stock 305 as well and see if i can get a slight preformace upgrade out of the 305. i'm not really interisted in doing anyitng radical to the 305 i mearly just want to learn the basics of tuning and seeing just what you can tune a stock 305 to do. alt least this way i can have some fun with it and learn what i'm doing so when i go to tune the 350 i'll have a better understanding of what is going on. Thanks .

Re: 91 TBI question

Head one board up to the DIY_PROM board. In the sticky's is a Tuning Guide Book. In the first couple of chapters is general info on tuning and equipment. Then in chapter 5 is a section on the '8063/'8746/'7747 ECM.

There is good information pertaining to how those TBI ECMs are set up. SA, VE, PE mode, and so on.

RBob.
