I have a 92 rs Camaro and I'm not satisfied with the my 305 tbi. Im wanting to swap my motor to a 350 efi tbi from a 1995 Yukon in theory would the 350 bolt right in?Would I need to change anything out? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

 

Everything should fit. Why not go TPI, since everything is out the harness would be easy to change for the engine to work out the computer is the same different chip though.

 

I'd love to go TPI but i would have to see a video to see how it's done with the wiring. I was reading about it but not have pictures or video just confused me. Would my 700r4 tranny work with the 350?

 

There aren't any videos that I know of, it's a matter of removing a harness without provisions for MPFI and installing one with. Most all else is the same plug and play. Yes your 700R4 is the same with the exception of the Corvette valve in the valve body to allow WOT 4th gear (which not all Z28s got). Same TV cable programming.

 

Bump. I know I'm going to have to keep my exhaust and motor mounts. But what else?

 

All of the front engine accessory drive from the 305. Don't lose your old engine til you're done that way you'll have the stuff you will need.
