Been a long road on this thing.... here's from the beginning to end... so gald it's done.... This is wifey's 82. She's a gear head too and picked out alot of stuff on it. Wild to look back at it. We might eventually put a regular air cleaner on too... Just seeing how this works for a bit...

 

Nice job!! What all did you do to the engine?

 

Snag a TPI filter box from a yard or online and use that carb top hat to run a pipe to it.


Here's mine, I grabbed the top hat from a tbi caddy.

 

Nice carb by the way, I'm scraping pennies to put one on my Bronco. I like how the secondaries work on those a lot

 

I would love to add those air cleaner styles , but it's a TA , and I could get it to work, but alot of modding to front area for sure. I haven't seen anybody do that, has anybody else? Thanks too

Tpi bird uses same filter box, just bolts in place of the plate around your hood latch. It clears the hood and top of the radiator no problem
