No Start when 20deg out? Dfi gen 7
Well its 20 deg out, and snowing, and my car wont start. The dfi system is great system, and has not given me much trouble, but since the weather has been getting cold, it makes it extreamly hard to start. Usaly requires several attemps at cranking befor it strugles and then fires over. When the car is warm it runs great. Even if its at least 35 deg or so it fires up fine. Now The engine is a fully build 350 super charged and has 36lb injectors, for the most part it has a stock tpi intake. The engine cranks fine with the mini touqre starter. What tables and or adjustments should i make to get this thing to fire up when its cold. No rush lol its not like its going to move very far in the snow, but i sure would like to move it out the way of my truck. lol

Its likely that you're not giving it enough pre-start enrichment to start; i.e. think of it as extra choke to give it extra fuel when it's so cold. I would suggest adding a fuel prime or increase the pre-start fuel when cold.

I would think to much fuel.
Turn the key on, let the fuel pump cycle then roll it over a few
times. Let off the key then try agian with the gas pedel ON THE
FLOOR. (Clear flood mode) Try for 5-6 seconds if it starts let off
the gas, it will rev very quickly.
Also if your running platinum plugs and have to much gas it will not
fire. Don't you LOVE cold weather.
Post what ever happens.
