In-tank Pump replace?

Hey need an advise,

I am thinking of getting a Procharger D1SC, but not sure if I should replace my stock in-tank pump and it still works fine. I have the external Fuel Pump from Aerimotive A1000. So it is worth to replace the pump out of the tank or will I be okay with the External pump?

I might be wrong, what I have heard that the external pump it doing most of the work and the in-tank does not do much. So it would not be worth to have an in-tank pump? Need help understanding this.

Also, I have the 38lb injectors and should I get the FMU?

Let me know thanks.

I did a similar deal on my 4th gen, external pump and FMU that came with the (Vortech) kit. I put it on the dyno and fueling was very good, no dips or issues even run to redline repeatedly. The in-tank pump just works as a primer pretty much, but the external pump was damn noisy.

Good luck

If I were you I would remove the in-tank pump and just use the external, you can run a piece of line down and put the sock on the end of that in the same location as if the pump was still there. That's how I did my external pump setup on my 4th gen.
