Open Circuit Problems

I have an 83 Camaro Z28 cc carburetor with an 700r4 tranny. When i first start it in the morning she runs great. Choke seams to work good and shifts great. If i warm her up for 5 minutes in mid 30's in the morning and go, as soon as i turn a corner she wants to die but doesn't after a few seconds she gets up and goes again. Now after a 5 miles drive to work i will let her sit and start her up but she wont start as easy as she did in the morning. I will let her sit again for 5 minutes to warm her up and go. Now when i stop at a light she idles and wants to die. Then when i try to go she bogs to near dying but picks up again and goes. Now when i cruise around 35 she feels like she misses slightly and i notice it too when she idles at a light or in park. But this afternoon i noticed that she was idling but going higher for no reason. just a 100 rpm and slowly went down but the idle seamed like she was sucking air. Any questions or comments on what one thing it could be or is it a million different reasons?
